This customer specialises in the development, production and distribution of intermediates and API’s. Previously using a leading competitor’s product the customer discovered that the ferrules at each end of the hoses were not welded in place.

When these other hoses were flexed, the helical wire moved, causing the thin PTFE hose liner to collapse.

Corroflon hose consists of a thick, robust PTFE liner which minimises the risk of collapse. In addition, the helical wire is welded to the end fittings removing any issues previously caused.
