Watson-Marlow OEM pumpheads are playing an essential part of specialist cleaning equipment manufactured by Poland-based Kooptech-Bio Sp.z o.o.
Due to their reliable precision, ease of use, durability and aesthetics, Watson-Marlow 313 pumpheads have been integrated into Kooptech-Bio's automated systems for washing and drying 3D glasses which are used in cinemas, theme parks and museums around the world. Kooptech-Bio's customers include IMAX, Dolby, National Geographic Museum (Washington, DC), Kennedy Space Center (Florida), Fernbank Museum (Atlanta, Florida), American Museum of Natural History (New York), Novo Cinemas (Oman), California Science Center and many others. High efficiency of up to 600 glasses per hour ensures constant supply of cleaned glasses for spectators, according to Kooptech-Bio.
The Kooptech® WD-LB system is also used for washing and rapid drying in low-temperature of LEGO® bricks at LEGOLAND in South Korea and other LEGOLAND locations, as well as companies trading second-hand LEGO bricks which is a growing market.
"Years of experience working with extremely demanding customers in the automotive industry have taught us that the best high-tech products must be created from materials and components of the highest quality," said Waldemar Rogujski, founder, and CEO of Kooptech.
“The experience gained in the automotive industry allowed us to design and launch the production of washing and drying equipment for 3D glasses used in cinemas, theme parks and museums. This was the first such product worldwide, and to this day we are the largest manufacturer of this type of solution.”

Kooptech-Bio's latest product is a low-temperature washing and rapid drying device for LEGO bricks. Large customers include LEGOLAND, as well as companies trading second-hand LEGO bricks.
Correct preparation of the cleaning agents is crucial to the cleaning efficiency. The components responsible for the preparation of the agents are the Watson-Marlow OEM 313 peristaltic pumpheads, which dose precise quantities of the concentrated agents.
In 3D glasses washing machines and LEGO washing machines, 313 pumpheads are used for these qualities:
The development of the Kooptech-Bio washing equipment required a huge amount of testing, including in the process of selecting the components. Due to their crucial role, particular attention was paid to the pumps dosing the washing agents. During the tests, and even in the first serially produced units, pumps from various companies were used.

“Kooptech-Bio's products are highly regarded and their quality meets expectations of even the most demanding global customers. This is, among other things, the result of cooperation with proven suppliers and using components of the highest and reproducible quality.”
After trials and analysis of the problems experienced by the users, the Watson-Marlow OEM 313 pumphead proved to be the best and the only solution which met the requirements.
Waldemar Rogujski added: “Kooptech-Bio's products are highly regarded and their quality meets expectations of even the most demanding global customers. This is, among other things, the result of cooperation with proven suppliers and using components of the highest and reproducible quality.”
