The hoses were used in a continuous slurry agitator under high pressure, transferring highly viscous media to assess the consistency and breakdown of the solvent bonds in cycles of 12 to 72 hours.
Due to the hoses having to withstand such pressure, they often collapsed under vacuum, increasing downtime of production. Supplying Bioflex Ultra with hot formed PTFE-lined Tri-clover fittings made for better durability and the ability to withstand high pressure.
