Automotive manufacturing capacity increased
Further to our acquisition by the Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG) and strengthening our position as the worlds leading manufacturer in PTFE flexible hose world, we are pleased to announce some exciting new additions to our ever expanding manufacturing facilities.
We have recently invested in new premises for a brand new braiding facility; this will house brand new braiders and ancillary machines. In addition we’ve recently designed and manufactured a revolutionary new extruder for our Sowerby Bridge Site, which is predominately for the manufacture of PTFE tube for the automotive sector.
This has been achieved by the support of WMFTG and thus increasing our manufacturing capacity by a massive 25% and demonstrates our commitment to expanding within the automotive sector. We will have more exciting announcements very shortly showing our continued commitment in the automotive and industrial sectors.
